About the Course

Welcome to the Four Fits of Dynamic Leadership. The course is designed to assist current, and future leaders explore different approaches toward personal reflection and how to lead teams. The course content can help individuals or organizations (i.e., team-building exercises, book series, or professional development. The overall scope of the course is to outline the four areas of fitness leaders must address to achieve transformational leadership while connecting with their team. The approach is a philosophy developed by Dr. Terrence Duncan to achieve these areas of growth, self-awareness, relationship building, and addressing their emotions when engaged against the myriad of challenges. 


The course consists of three (3) learning modules of varying lengths. The first learning module provides insight into the Four Fits philosophy. Module 2 will address the individual element of leadership with self-reflection and enhanced awareness. Finally, module 3 will utilize findings from such reflections to help lead and guide teams to address some of the complex issues organizations currently face and are likely to face as the organizational culture features more volatility and increasing stakeholder pressure. tI is recommended to go through each module in sequential order as each module provides connectivity between key learning objectives, thus providing learners a holistic experience. 


Each of the Four Fits contains different axioms, which build the foundation for that particular Fit. Each axiom contains interactive worksheets to assist ongoing development, self-identification, and awareness. The axioms enhance the learning objectives by applying the worksheets to underscore each foundation.

Dr. Terrence Duncan


Dr. Terrence Duncan holds a Doctor of Business Administration degree from Walden University and an MBA from Park University. Demonstrating a commitment towards leadership, human resources, project management, and leadership, Dr. Duncan has published in numerous academic journals and international publications and served as a panelist for several esteemed academic conferences.

With 15 years in the healthcare and risk management industry, Dr. Duncan has reduced claim losses via enterprise risk management and human resources. Dr. Duncan currently teaches MBA/MHA courses and serves as a Subject Matter Expert in Healthcare Economics and a Dissertation Chair for doctoral candidates. In addition, Dr. Duncan currently holds three board of director positions with three non-profit organizations. He also provides professional and financial mentoring to small Black businesses and households aligned with his vision, The Mahogany Legacy Project.
